Talent Hub had a booth at HELP College University for a Bazaar organized by the students. There were clothes, accessories, live entertainment and other things to entice the HELP students in between their classes.
Ceilidh Dancing
After Salsa class last week, our new Scottish student Paul taught a few of us how to do a Ceilidh dance called "Orcadian Strip the Willow". As you can see, we failed miserably!

Ballroom Dancing
A new intake for Ballroom Dancing commenced early March. Students have been learning how to dance the Rhythm Foxtrot and the Waltz.

Lindy Basics is a 4-week series that will cover the fundamentals of Lindy Hop plus some variations and break away jazz steps to spice things up.
Lindy Hop is the granddaddy of all swing dancing and was created in Harlem in the late 1920's. This exciting dance incorporates footwork based on the Charleston, Boogie Woogie break away steps, freezes, and 6-count and 8-count traveling steps. It's an energetic, swingin', happy partner dance that can be danced to slow or fast swing music & everything in between.
